Gymnastics Skill Level:
Playful Parenting: Ages 2 to 3 years old. A parent must take the class with the gymnast to ensure proper instruction and safety. Intro to beginning gymnastics!
Tumble Bug: Ages 3-4 year olds learn the fundamentals on all four events (vault, bars, beam and floor) while increasing coordination, listening skills, and body awareness.
Giggle Worm: Ages 5-6 years olds build on skills learned as a Tumble Bug and develop large muscle groups, fine motor skills, how to overcome fears, and work toward mastering solid basic skills on each apparatus.
Gym Chix/Dude: Ages 7-9 year olds are challenged to increase cardio, strength, flexibility, and work ethic while continuing to add new skills to their existing list. More independent work is giving and encouragement to push toward bigger goals.
Flip-Flops: Ages 10-18 year olds continue to improve fundamentals and are introduced to more individual skills that are based on their skill level.
COMPETITIVE GYMNASTICS; "TEAM VIDALIA": Twice a year (November & May), VGC holds a simple evaluation for all girls ages 4-14 to try out for our competitive team. Girls and their parents are instructed on what their need to work on and what it takes to become a SPRINGER! Contact your coach if this is something your little one may be interested in...

Cheer Tumbling Skill Level:
Skill level is determined by a coach during a C1 class...
Cheer-TOTS- Ages 6-9. that work basic tumbling and body control to lead up to back handspring.
C1- Ages 10-18. Working basic skills up to back handspring
C2- Ages 10-18. Can independently perform a standing back handspring (BHS) & roundoff-BHS
C3- Ages 10-18. Can independently perform a round-off, two BHS & working tucks
C4- Ages 10-18. Can independently perform a standing back tuck; round-off, BHS, tuck; working layouts/fulls
Stunt- Working basic through advanced stunts (all girl & coed).

Cheer Technique
Our Children's Cheerleading Programs Build Teamwork.
Teamwork is always a key ingredient in our non-competitive cheerleading program, because children learn trust and cooperation by working as a team.

The Vidalia Gymnastics cheer technique program is 30 minutes of non-stop action and includes time in the cheer room to practice cheers, chants, motions, jumps, dance, and light stunts. With all of the fun activities that go on during our children's cheerleading classes, your child will never know that they are learning and growing.
Cheerleading Classes available for children ages 5-10.

"Flipping Friday" is held once a month for ALL kids ages 5-12! It's an open workout from 7:00-11PM ~ See our HOMEPAGE for the next date! Call to register!

HOW TO REGISTER:

Please come by the office during our office hours to submit a registration form and payment before your first class.  You can also mail in your registration form with payment (check only).
No gymnast or cheerleader can be allowed on the floor without a registration form and payment on file.
Vidalia Gymnastics offers year-round gymnastics classes for girls & boys ages 18 months to 18 years old & cheerleading classes for ages 8-18 from the beginner to the competitive level!

Check out the schedule (classes are grouped according to age). Call the gym or stop be during gym hours! A one-piece leotard is all that is required! No shoes! No costumes! No extra fees! Cheerleaders wear cheer shorts, sports bra & tanks! Classes are based on age according to date of registration and ability. Gymnasts are evaluated twice a year & advanced individually. Cheer classes are grouped by ability (C1, C2, C3, C4) & will be moved up or down monthly. Any member not paid by the third class of the month will not be allowed on floor!
~Membership Fee:
All gymnast/cheerleader/privates must have an active membership before allowed on equipment! ($30).
~Team Sibling Tuition:
$30/MONTH FOR GYMNASTICS AND $35/MONTH FOR CHEER-TUMBLING CLASSES
 
 C L A S S   P O L I C I E S: 
ATTENDING CLASS:
- Students need to be escorted into and out of the building!
- To make thing easier, please be on time to all classes, wear appropriate attire (leotard for girls & shorts/tank for boys with no buttons or zippers), hair up, no jewelry & have your little gymnast use the potty before class... 
TUITION:
-Tuition is due by the 10th  (second lesson) of each month!
- A $10 mandatory late fee is added after the 2nd lesson of the month.
- A $20 mandatory late fee after the 31st!

- Any students tuition not paid by the third lesson will not be allowed on the floor until tuition is paid.
- Most classes have waiting list & any unpaid gymnast out for 3 weeks will be dropped from the class.
Help us keep up with our gymnasts by making the front office aware of absences.
MAKE-UPS:
- Vidalia Gymnastics does not offer make-ups to students for missed classes.
WITHDRAW FROM CLASS:
- When registering a child, please know that your class will go through May of 2008. In the event you wish to drop the class or are unable to attend, please make us aware. This allows us to contact gymnasts from our waiting list & helps us keep the classes full. Any gymnast who does not fill out a "withdrawal form" from the front office or call to make us aware of the drop will be billed for the classes they are on roll. To re-enter the class, a child must be placed on a waiting list & repay the membership fee.
