Recreational Gymnastics
Playful
Parenting: Ages
18 mths to 3 year old girls and boys.
A parent must take the class
with
the gymnast to ensure proper instruction and safety.
Intro to beginning
gymnastics!
Tumble Bug: Ages 3-4 year old
girls and boys.
Intro class that teaches fundamentals gymnastics skills on all four events
(vault, bars,
beam and floor) while increasing coordination, listening skills,
and body awareness.
Giggle Worm:
Ages 5-6 year old girls and boys.
Building on skills learned as a Tumble Bug, this class develops
large
muscle groups, fine motor skills, how to overcome fears, and work toward
mastering solid basic skills on all four events (vault, bars, beam and floor)
Gym
Chix:
Ages 7-18 year old GIRLS ONLY
A more challenging class that increase cardio, strength,
flexibility, and
work ethic while continuing to add new skills
to their existing list.
More
independent work is giving and
encouragement to push toward bigger goals.
Boys-In-Training:
Ages 6-18 year olds BOYS ONLY
Class that works with a male coach that introduces & increases
fundamental through advanced gymnastics skills.
This class works speed training, muscle development and fine motor skills.
Competitive Gymnastics
COMPETITIVE GYMNASTICS; "TEAM VIDALIA":
Twice a year (November & May), VGC
holds a simple evaluation for all girls
ages 4-14 to try out for our competitive
team. Girls and their parents are instructed
on what they need to work on and
what it takes to become a competitive gymnast!
